The Faculty of Law at Stockholm University is the biggest Law Faculty in Sweden, both in number of reserachers and in number of students. Virtually all fields of law are represented at the Faculty of Law.

The Faculty of Law was founded in 1907 at what was then called Stockholm University College (Stockholms högskola). The Faculty was seen as an alternative to the more closed academic environments at the traditional universities.

The Faculty of Law has one department - the Department of Law. When referring to both the Faculty and the Department they are commonly called Juridicum.

The law programme at Stockholm University has been the first-cycle programme with the largest number of applicants in Sweden since the autumn of 2008.
